Australia's Loganholme Wastewater Treatment Plant is gearing up to receive its third low-temperature sewage sludge dryer. After completing the FAT (factory acceptance test) in our own production facility in the Black Forest (Germany) in late February 2024, the dryer will be disassembled into three parts and shipped to Australia via container ship.
With the implementation of the third dryer, the wastewater treatment plant’s efficiency has been increased, and its environmental impact has been further minimized. The reduction in sewage sludge leads to greater environmental protection and lower long-term operating costs.
The Australian municipality of Logan City is working hard to actively protect the environment and promote sustainability. The installation of a third low-temperature sewage sludge dryer at Loganholme Wastewater Treatment Plant once again underlines the region's strong commitment to technological innovation and a responsible approach to the environment and, in particular, wastewater treatment.
With the addition of the third dryer, the Loganholme Wastewater Treatment Plant is strengthening its leadership in wastewater treatment in Australia. The new dryer is set to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2024.
